At TempStars, we're constantly working to improve the experience for our dental community. We've heard your feedback about our cancellation policy, and we agree – not all cancellations are equal, and our scoring system should reflect that reality.

That's why we're introducing a more nuanced approach to reliability scoring that better recognizes the complexities of managing your schedule as a dental professional.

Key Changes:

1. Weighted Timing: We now take into account when a cancellation occurs. A last-minute cancellation or no-show has a different impact on a dental office than a cancellation made well in advance, and our system now reflects this difference.
2. Grace Period: We've introduced a grace period for cancellations made shortly after booking shifts far in advance. We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and we want to give you the flexibility to manage your schedule responsibly.
3. Recent History Matters More: Your recent reliability history (the last 90 days) now carries more weight than older history. This means you have more control over your reliability score through consistent, professional behaviour.
