To put it simply, TempStars only facilities the matches for a successful shift, which means the office you work at is responsible for paying you directly.
Now, having said that we do have policies and features in place to make getting your payment easy and as seamless as possible!
Firstly, when you are looking through shifts be sure to check the Payment Terms that the office has stated for that shift. It will say either:
- Within 24 hours
- Within 1 week
- Within 2 weeks
That means that the office has that ^ specified amount of time to get payment to you. Only apply to shifts that have Payment Terms that you are comfortable with.
If the Payment Terms have expired and you are still waiting on your pay, be sure to:
- Resend your invoice to the office as a reminder.
- Check your bank for a Direct Deposit - if you filled out a form with the office at your shift and left banking and email information with them, check to see if it's been deposited
- If the office used Pay Now, again check your bank if you have your transfers set to "auto-deposit"
- Check your Spam/Junk Folder for any email from the office or us (Sudden Turtle Dental) for e-transfer or payment details
Once you have done the above and if you still don't have payment, please be sure to reach out to us to let us know right away! We can assist in getting your payment quickly.
Offices typically pay one of three ways:
- E-transfer
- Pay Now
- Cheque
When at your shift, we recommend finding time in the day to speak to the office manager or owner to confirm how you're getting paid and to ask if you need to leave any information (i.e. email for e-transfer).
Doing all the above things will help ensure you get your payment on time!
