Hourly Rate Selector - How to use it.

The range you see in your Rate Selector is based on a number of factors, including geography and the history of accepted hourly rates in your specific area.   And it can vary depending on the day of the week of the shift (for example, the selector has a higher rate range for Saturday shifts).

The reason we implemented this was that there have been instances where the offered hourly rate was excessive and unreasonable relative to the experience level of the members, which as you can imagine causes us to get some upset feedback from the dental office members. 

We genuinely believe in and build TempStars, based on a free market of supply and demand, but we’ve just had to implement some guidelines to keep things fair and reasonable.

So we just implemented this new system and it’s been working great so far!

Just remember,  we ask that when you are sending in offers you are considerate to both yourself and the office. Of course, ask for what you feel is the fair rate you deserve for yourself, but I ask that it is fair to the office as well.

In addition, you can unlock even higher rates by achieving "Pro" and "Elite" status membership.  These status achievements are free to unlock by completing shifts reliably with great reviews and not canceling shifts.

Pro Status:  Complete 5-9 consecutive shifts maintaining in the top 25% of feedback and reliability (not canceling booked shift commitments)

Elite Status:  Complete 10 or more consecutive shifts while maintaining in the top 25% of feedback and reliability (not canceling booked shift commitments)

1. Log into your account 

2. From your Home screen click on a green shift date. Select shift from the list.

3. Click on Select Hourly Rate

4. Select the hourly rate you want, then Click Submit Your Offer
