Cancelling Shifts:
TempStars hygienists and assistants rarely cancel their booking commitments. You have given your word and committed to attending the shift. “Cancelling with notice” does not apply when it comes to your already scheduled commitments, unless a reasonable cause is given with proof (i.e. doctor’s note).
The office and its patients are counting on you arriving as scheduled for this shift. TempStars hygienists and assistants have built an incredible reputation for keeping their booking commitments and hold themselves to this high standard.
NOTE: If you don't keep this commitment, you will be penalized from viewing Available Shifts and/or the Job Board and may be permanently removed from the service.
One Account per position:
Each member is allowed to have one account per position (Assistant or Hygienist-assuming they are qualified for more than one position). More than one account per position will result in accounts being deactivated.
Booking shifts outside the App:
Sometimes shifts will get arranged outside the app - that's okay! In this case though, it is your responsibility to manually book the shift by clicking the “Report/Book A Shift” button at the bottom of your home screen within 2 weeks of the shift. This puts the shift into your calendar and the office’s calendar, ensures you are covered by all TempStars policies, and protects your payment.
Hourly Rate:
Your hourly rate is based on the number of years of experience you have. When you are submitting an offer, you select the hourly rate you wish to have for that shift. Once an hourly rate is set, it cannot be changed, no matter the circumstance. Any member who is found to be asking to change an hourly rate, for whatever reason, will be removed from TempStars.
