Applying to a Job Board Posting

When you log into your TempStars account, just click “Job Board” at the top of your home screen.

From there, you can search through all the ads that are available to you within 110km of! The first step to submitting an application is uploading your resume to your Job Board account. You only need to do this once.

Upload your Resume

In the top right-hand corner, you will see an Upload Resume button.

Click that and choose the file you wish to upload!

It is best if you convert your resume into a PDF and upload that document.

We’ve noticed that candidates get more calls from offices and set up more interviews when their resume is a PDF.  And don’t forget to have your phone number on your resume so offices can contact you to schedule an interview! 

Edit your Resume

Once your resume is uploaded to your account, you are now going to see an Edit Resume button in the top right corner.

This allows you to upload a newer resume or different document if you ever want to.

Now that your resume is on your account, it stays there - so you can go ahead and apply to jobs you are interested in! 

Sorting Features

As you are looking through jobs, notice the sorting features at the top!

Clicking through those features below allows you to quickly find the job you really want.

(Date Posted, Start Date, Distance, & Applied)

Lastly, if you end up getting hired or decide you aren’t looking for a job anymore, it’s important that you go back into the Job Board and remove your applications from other ads - this way the office’s don’t pay to view your resume, call to set up an interview, and then find out you aren’t looking anymore.

Removing your application

To remove your application simply sort through the jobs by clicking “Applied”, click on the individual ad and click “Remove Application” at the bottom - it’s super fast and again, helps the greater dental community out!
