We try to minimize communication between members and should only be used to relay important information about the shift.
Access the chat feature from your account!
Step #1: Click on the booked shift and click "Chat/Message"
Step #2: Type and send your message! When you have an unread message, you will see a little red dot on the shift date and this indicates such.
2 hours before the shift starts, office’s will be able to view your phone number in the app, for last minute, important information that needs to be relayed. You can also view the office’s phone number by clicking on shift details!
Note: Cancellations, time changes, or hourly rate discussions cannot be relayed through the chat feature.
If an office attempts to cancel the shift through this feature, please click on the “Report” button to let us know. This will send us a message of what is going on and we can follow up with the office directly.
If you absolutely must cancel a shift, it needs to be done through the “Cancel Shift” button on the shift details page - please note, members can be removed for not following these policies. To review our cancellation policy https://www.tempstars.ca/short-notice
