1. Promotion Period

Let's start with the basics. The TempStars Surge Season Promotion kicks off on November 16, 2023, and runs until December 31, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. It's your chance to shine during this period.

2. Who Can Participate

This promotion is exclusively for registered Dental Hygienists and Assistants in Illinois with active, valid licenses. You need to be registered with TempStars, maintain a good standing, and have a track record of reliability. 

3. Guaranteed Hourly Rates

For Dental Hygienists, you'll enjoy a guaranteed hourly rate of $80/hr, while Dental Assistants will earn $40/hr for shifts completed during the Promotion Period. Here's how it works:

• When you see a shift, check the "recommended hourly rate."
• Send an offer within $5 of that recommended rate.
• If your offer is accepted, honour your commitment.
• After the shift, use the TempStars invoicing feature within the app to send your invoice.
• The office will pay you according to the agreed rate and hours worked.
• TempStars will pay you the top up to match the guaranteed rate, the Sunday following a shift. 
• Stripe Express must be set up to receive the guaranteed hourly rate. 

4. Limitations and Restrictions

Remember, this promotion is only valid during the Promotion Period and cannot be combined with other offers. It's subject to shift availability and dental office needs. TempStars may also check your eligibility and shift validity.

5. Payment Terms

Payments for the enhanced hourly rate and referral bonuses will be processed through the TempStars system. You need an active Stripe Express account for this, which is free. TempStars will strive to pay you every two weeks, but there might be banking delays. It's essential to manage your taxes yourself.

6. Short Notice Cancellation Policy

If a dental office cancels a booking with less than 24 hours' notice, TempStars will help find a replacement shift. If no replacement is found, the office must compensate you for 50% of the scheduled hours, minus half an hour. TempStars facilitates but doesn't financially cover this.

7. Dispute Resolution

If you have any issues with the promotion, contact TempStars Member Support. Unresolved disputes will be handled individually, and TempStars will decide the resolution method.
